Update codes are useful to find results that have been added to our databases. They can be used to trigger alerts and/or combined with search strings via the command line.
Here is a list of the update codes and their description that are currently available in Orbit Intelligence.
Nota: Monthly codes do not correspond exactly to 4 calendar weeks - There are 12 monthly updates per year. This number "4" (UMT4 etc...) is only a convenient alias to refer to monthly codes. Usually, these alerts are sent between the 3rd and 12th of the current month, in order to include all publications the past month.

Pease note that for legal status information LGUP is the only code available for standard alerts - it will only notify you about any change in the legal status of the document without providing specific information on the event.

To add update codes in alerts, first make sure to fill out the fields Name and Title .
With the NEW Update Code Selector, choose a collection or frequency for your alert and the list of specific codes updates that apply to the current configuration will appear.
