As the legal status data is maybe complex to understand and follow, Questel introduced a dedicated tool to view a graphical overview of the history of proceedings and quickly decipher the legal status.


This legal status analyzer will allow you to quickly:


  • Understand the current stage of the procedure (Office action? Notice of allowance?)
  • Understand the sequence of the different stages of the procedure
  • Analyze the number of official letters received

Key features

  • Share the information with your colleagues (share link)
  •  If the patent is not yet granted, obtain information on the likelihood of being granted.
  •  Find the official patent expiration information (PTE/PTA)
