The current AI components include:

• A locally installed AI model for audio-to-text transcription
  • Use: Sophia Query
• A locally installed, specialised large language model (LLM) for the search functionalities
  • Use: Sophia search - semantic & embeddings creation
• OpenAI’s language models, accessed via their API, for a range of other AI-powered features (terms & conditions)
  • Use: Sophia Lab tab described here
  • Use: Sophia Query described here
  • Most AI features like Claims explanations
  • Note: Alibaba’s Qwen models, accessed through Alibaba’s API, specifically for customers in mainland China.
• OpenAI’s language models, dedicated Questel servers - hosted on Microsoft Azure Cloud, with inference localized in Europe. There is no data retention, no human-based abuse monitoring, and no personal information is shared with third parties.
