The content displayed in the list of results can be customized at will.
Here are the display options available:
Compact: Title, Publication Number, Earliest Application Date and Patent Assignee.
Abstract: Title, Publication Number, Earliest Application Date, Patent Assignee, Abstract and 1st page drawing.
KWIC: Title, Publication Number, Earliest Application Date, Patent Assignee, Abstract and 1st page drawing and KWIC (KeyWords In Context) - KWIC displays the fields where your search results are found.
1st drawing only: Cover page drawing and Title.
All drawings: Title, Publication Number, Earliest Application Date, Patent Assignee, and all drawings.
All drawings (large): Same as previous but with larger drawings.
Custom: Displays the list of fields selected with the "Edit" Custom button.
To set up or edit a custom display, it is necessary to use the "Edit" option.
The "Edit" option will allow you to set up the fields to be displayed via the Custom view display.
The "Fields to display" section shows the filters that will be displayed in your hitlist
The "Available fields" section displays the list of remaining filters:
- Use the arrows or the drag and drop option to move the fields > to the right to select them, to the left to unselect them.
- Double arrows allow to select or unselect all.
- The up and down arrows will allow you to manage the order of your selected fields.
Once the modification is done, make sure to hit the "OK" button to validate your changes!
