Questel is committed to implement in our software various Artificial Intelligence technologies to deliver advanced features. See our policy about AI here.

The current AI components include:

• A locally installed AI model for audio-to-text transcription
  • Use: Sophia Query
• A locally installed, specialised large language model (LLM) for search functionalities
  • Use: Sophia Search - semantic & embeddings creation
• OpenAI’s language models, dedicated Questel servers - hosted on Microsoft Azure Cloud, with inference localized in Europe. There is no data retention, no human-based abuse monitoring, and no personal information is shared with third parties.
