Coverage of the molecule search

Modified on Thu, 22 Oct, 2020 at 9:15 PM

Thanks to our partner Chemaxon™, chemical compounds are extracted from the full text of the patents records from the following 13 Offices: AU, CA, CN, DE, EP, FR, GB, IL, IN, JP, KR, US, WO.

We also have molecules from additional .mol files from US publications since 2007 and molecules from the images inside US, WO, EP and JP publications since 2007.

NB: if not present in our molecule database from a previous publication, each newly published compound is automatically detected and indexed by its IUPAC form.

We have ongoing projects to increase our data coverage on molecules (coming soon). Please note that at this time indexation on isotopes is not fully supported and Markush structures are not extracted.
