A short sequence can be a CDR, a primer, an enzyme recognition site etc…
To search for a short sequence, you need to :
-enter it in a FASTA format
-open the advanced parameters
-check the “short input sequences” box
-increase the e-value to its maximum
-select the database you want to search
-select the number of hits to retrieve
-press search
