Orbit Biosequence (OBS) contains more than 400 millions sequences within 1.1 million patent publications.

The patent sequences are coming from Genbank, EMBL and DDBJ and from the sequence listings of US, EP, WO, JP, KR and CA. We also do manual curation from the following authorities : CN, WO, JP, KR, CA, FR, GB, IL, AU and more.  We are also currently working on all other full text patents.

Orbit Biosequences also contains sequences from non-patent sources, coming from Genbank and databases.

The following Genbank divisions are not included since they contain either non-original sequences or genomic constructs: gbcon, gbgss, gbhtc, gbhtg, gbsts, gbtsa
